Happy New Year! Can you believe it’s 2018 already?
I hope that you had a fantastic Christmas! Did you get anything nice?
We had a great time, my parents and sister came over for Christmas Day. I was in charge of our festive feast and, thankfully it turned out lovely. The fry up afterwards was lovely too 🙂
December was a mad month for us here, trying to finally get that loft conversion finished.
I’m pleased to say that, it’s almost finished. The only thing left to do now is get new furniture and fit the new doors (furniture can wait a while though).
We are now in there though, and (more importantly for you) look, I can get back into my work room again 🙂
Woohoo! I think I was actually starting to get withdrawal symptoms from not doing any bear making.
So, I can happily say that I have a new bear on the go 🙂
I have a feeling it will be another alien. I’ve been really enjoying making the aliens.
Here it is so far…
Cut out and ready for pinning together…
Just the head and feet to sew now…

Some other good news…
I have been invited to exhibit at Hugglets again!
I will be there in September, same place as last year.

I had a fantastic end to 2017 too with Bertie and Heri both finding their forever homes!
Bertie has now arrived with his new family and Heri will be joining them soon.
Here is Bertie, just before he set off on his travels…
You can see him in his new home in the Collectors Gallery

Since it’s now 2018, I have decided to have a New Year sale!
So there’s 15% off all of my orphans until 15th January!
