Pistachio’s story:
Pistachio is named after his favourite food.
He loves pistachios a lot, on sandwiches, on top of ice-cream or brownies etc.
He likes to wear the shells as hats, which he does agree looks a little bit silly.
Pistachio’s favourite pastime is chasing butterflies in the meadows.
Of course, he never manages to catch any as he is so small, and they are too fast for him.

Pistachio’s details:
Pistachio is a one of a kind handmade bear made from white viscose fur.
He is 5 1/2″ (13cm) tall, has black glass eyes and a large green glittery needle felted nose.
Pistachio is fully jointed, with cotter pin neck, arm and leg joints. He is filled with heavy polyester fibre and has some steel shot in his tummy.
He has been carefully hand shaded.
Pistachio is also wearing a handmade wire-wrapped crystal pendant around his neck.
Please note:
Brierley Bears are designed with the adult collector in mind, and due to the small parts used in creating them they are not suitable for children under the age of 14.
All bears come with a sewn in tag, their own personalised wooden engraved hang tag and information booklet, signed for authenticity.

– UK postage is included and all bears will be sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery
– Overseas orders will be sent by courier via Transglobal Express for better tracking of your parcel. All orders will include a commercial invoice, correct HS codes and proper declarations.
If you wish to buy more than one item from me, I will try my best to combine the postage.
As of 29th August 2025 the de Minimis exemption in the USA was cancelled, which means that anything shipped to the United States now incurs custom duties, this is something completely out of my control.
Important shipping information for all countries:
From 30th August 2025 all duties will be included in your postage price, which should be just the new UK standard of 10%.
However, just so that you are aware, HS code 95030041, the code I use for stuffed teddy bears does suggest it carries a 4% duty, but as of 01.09.25 this currently doesn't show when I run a dummy quote through Transglobal Express.
I have added a button to each bears adoption page with a pre-configured email for you to complete so that I can get you an accurate postage price including duties.
Hopefully this will mean that your parcel clears customs and gets to you without any hiccups.
