Brighteyes’s story:
Brighteyes sees the world with a sparkle that never fades.
He notices every tiny little thing — a fluttering leaf, a giggle from across the room, or the quiet moment when someone needs a friend.
He loves following his friends wherever they go, and if there’s any dancing to join in, he’s there in a heartbeat. He does have two left feet, though, and often gets the steps muddled, which only makes everyone laugh even more.
Brighteyes especially loves to dance when the blossoms begin to fall from the trees like snow.
And his favourite food? Easter eggs — the colourful kind that make his eyes shine even brighter.

Brighteyes – Part of ‘The Originals’ collection.
Brighteyes is a one of a kind mohair bear, approximately 9.5″ (24 cm) tall when standing.
He is made from light terracotta mohair with brown felt paw pads.
He is five way jointed, with nut & bolt joints in his arms and legs and a cotter pin neck joint.
Brighteyes is filled with polyester fibre and has some stainless steel pellets in his tummy for extra weight.
He has hand painted gold glittery glass eyes and has a large black needle felted nose.
Brighteyes’s paws are carefully hand shaded and are embroidered with the years 2005 – 2025 to mark the 20th anniversary of Brierley Bears.
He also wears a rusty bell around his neck.
Please note:
Brierley Bears are designed with the adult collector in mind, and due to the small parts used in creating them they are not suitable for children under the age of 14.
All bears come with a sewn in tag, their own personalised wooden engraved hang tag and information booklet, signed for authenticity.

– UK postage is included and all bears will be sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery
– Overseas orders will be sent by courier via Transglobal Express for better tracking of your parcel. All orders will include a commercial invoice, correct HS codes and proper declarations.
If you wish to buy more than one item from me, I will try my best to combine the postage.
As of 29th August 2025 the de Minimis exemption in the USA was cancelled, which means that anything shipped to the United States now incurs custom duties, this is something completely out of my control.
Important shipping information for all countries:
From 30th August 2025 all duties will be included in your postage price, which should be just the new UK standard of 10%.
However, just so that you are aware, HS code 95030041, the code I use for stuffed teddy bears does suggest it carries a 4% duty, but as of 01.09.25 this currently doesn't show when I run a dummy quote through Transglobal Express.
I have added a button to each bears adoption page with a pre-configured email for you to complete so that I can get you an accurate postage price including duties.
Hopefully this will mean that your parcel clears customs and gets to you without any hiccups.
