Nightshade’s story:
Nightshade’s favourite time to fly is the evening, of course, especially when the moon is full.
Being a Night Dragon, he is normally asleep during the daylight hours, but as he wakes up each evening, he loves to sit on a quiet hill and watch the sunset.
After the sunset, he takes great delight in chasing the local bats around.
His favourite food is Deadly Nightshade, because it makes the fire and smoke he breathes come out purple.

Nightshade’s details:
Nightshade is a one of a kind dragon made from purple mohair with a dark grey backing fabric. His tummy is white mohair, with purple embroidered scales.
He is 10″ (25cm) tall, has black glass eyes and a large black and purple needle felted nose.
Nightshade is fully jointed, with a cotter pin neck joint and nuts and bolts in his arms and legs. He is filled with heavy polyester fibre and has some steel shot in his tummy.
He has black felt paws, wings and ears which have been stitched in purple thread.
He has been carefully hand shaded.
Nightshade is also wearing a handmade wire-wrapped smoky quartz pendant around his neck.
Please note:
Brierley Bears are designed with the adult collector in mind, and due to the small parts used in creating them they are not suitable for children under the age of 14.
All bears come with a sewn in tag, their own personalised hang tag and information booklet, signed for authenticity.
