A successful show

If you remember, I did a show on the 2nd April called A Spring Apothecarium. It was an alternative craft fair, so there was lots of gothic, steampunk and even geeky stuff there, all handmade.
I hope some of you managed to make it, if not, you’ll have to come to the next one.

It was a lovely day out, and even though it was pouring it down with rain, we still had plenty of visitors. Some of whom were dressed beautifully for the occasion.

Now I do enjoy doing shows, even if none of the bears find new homes on the day. The main thing is that people get to see my bears ‘in the fur’. I take photos to the best of my ability, but you just can’t beat seeing them in person.

Here is my stall if you’d like to have a nosy (sorry for the bad quality):

The morning after the show I received a text about Moriarty from someone who visited the show. I’m very pleased to tell you that they adopted Moriarty and he went to live at his new home by the Monday evening.

I think we can say that this show was definitely a success!

New Bear

As well as the show, I finally managed to get into my work room. Ok, I did make most of her on my lunch breaks at the day job.

I’ve missed getting in there, and I’m so glad that we finished the bathroom. Although, we have now started preparing to do the loft conversion. I’m dreading the mess, but I can’t wait for it to be done. It may slow down my bear making a little, but I will try my best not to let it affect them too much.

Now, let me introduce you to my latest bear, Gertie.

She definitely looks like a Gertie, doesn’t she?

Gertie will be available for adoption very soon.
