Floss and A Spring Apothecarium

First of all, let me introduce you to Floss.

She is my latest bear and was commissioned for a friend’s sister, who definitely deserves to be a little spoilt.

She is made from pink mohair, is fully jointed, quite heavy and has lovely long eyelashes.

She was great fun to make, even though it was a little tricky putting her eyelashes on.

I have finally got my first fair of the year booked.

It’s on 2^nd April and it’s called A Spring Apothecarium and you can see the details here: www.brierleybears.co.uk/shows

I exhibited at this fair last year and thought I’d give it another try.

Unless they are lucky enough to find new homes beforehand, Moriarty, Jezebel, Bertie, Esme and Mona are be some of the bears that are coming with me.

They will all be available for adoption on the day.

I will try and get a couple more themed bears made in time for the show too.

My best friend has also finally decided to start up her own little jewellery business, and will be having a stall next to mine.

She makes gorgeous jewellery, and it’s all unique.

A Spring Apothecarium is an alternative craft fair and is a celebration of all things crafty and alternative.
