Wow, that’s been a busy few weeks. I got that new bear all finished and photographed just in time to go on holiday, phew!

New Bear
I think my new bear has already got a new mum, but it’s been a couple of weeks and I still haven’t heard anything.
If I don’t hear anything by the end of this weekend, I will put him up for adoption.
You have already seen a few photo’s of him in progress, so here are the final few photos, up to him being finished.

Here he is waiting to be stuffed
Here is a little collage of him being made up.
You’ll get to see more photo’s of him if he gets put up for adoption this weekend.
Subscribers to my mailing list get first option though.

Holiday
We went off on two little holidays last week.
The first one was to a car show, showing off the hubby’s car. Thankfully the weather stayed nice as we were camping for three nights.
Unfortunately on the first night I went flying over one of the tent guide ropes and hurt my arm and shoulder. I think it’s finally back to normal, so I will get on with my next projects very soon (a bat and a unicorn).
Other than that, it was a fun few days, but I have to say that I was definitely ready to sleep in a nice warm bed when I got home.
When we got back, we had a night at Rob’s parents house, so that we didn’t upset Shadow.
Then it was up at 4:30am Monday morning for the trip to Ireland.
We’d been organising this surprise birthday trip since June and I still can’t quite believe that the 5 of us who organised the trip managed to keep the whole thing quiet until that morning.
It was a great few days, with fantastic company!
Here we all are, a group selfie in front of one of the murals near The Duke of York.
If you ever go to Belfast, I definitely recommend visiting the following places:
Pubs: The Crown, Fibber Magee (the food in here is delicious!), The Dirty Onion & The Duke of York.
You have to visit the Titanic museum too, but be sure to allow yourself at least half a day if you are doing one of the tours (which I definitely recommend).
